Ángel Cappelletti is a renowned Argentine philosopher and professor. He was born in 1927 in Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina. He is best known for his works on the philosophy of language, the philosophy of science, and the philosophy of education. Cappelletti studied philosophy at the University of Buenos Aires, where he obtained his doctorate in 1954. He then went on to teach at the University of Buenos Aires, the University of La Plata, and the University of Córdoba. He has also held visiting professorships at the University of California, Berkeley, the University of Michigan, and the University of Toronto. Cappelletti has written numerous books and articles on philosophy, including "The Philosophy of Language" (1962), "The Philosophy of Science" (1966), and "The Philosophy of Education" (1970). He has also served as the editor of the journal "Philosophy of Education" since its inception in 1971. Cappelletti is currently a professor emeritus at the University of Buenos Aires. He is also a member of the Argentine Academy of Letters and the Argentine Academy of Sciences. He has received numerous awards and honors, including the National Prize for Philosophy in Argentina in 1998.
