Beatrice Barberis

In 2013 won the "In Puglia" Award: "The concept of love is born from the earth, from sacrifice, from pride. Since 2009 she has worked in many films, documentaries and more than 35 short films (including Gretel (2011) by Valentina Gravili, selected at David di Donatello Award) and other works (music videos, events and other experiences), especially in the camera department.

She has also studied with editor Marco Spoletini (Gomorrah (2008), Tale of Tales (2015)) and the Oscar nominated cinematographer Stuart Dryburgh (The Piano (1993)).

She started working in 2003 as an editor of documentaries for home video with J. Amba Edizioni.

Born in 1989 in an artists' family, daughter of the famous fashion photographer Gianpaolo Barberis and architect/designer Maria Cristina Chiulli, Beatrice Barberis learned to love cinema and photography very early, using her first photo camera at the age of 5 and editing her first documentary at the age 13. Filmmaker and photographer, she graduated as director of photography at the ACT Multimedia in CinecittÃfffffÃfff'Ãff'Ãf'Ã' , Rome, with leading film industry professionals.
