Biddu Appaiah is an Indian singer, music producer, and composer who has been active in the music industry since the 1960s. He is best known for his work in the disco and pop genres, and for producing and composing hit songs for Bollywood films. He has also produced and composed music for international artists such as Tina Turner, Tom Jones, and Engelbert Humperdinck. Biddu was born in 1944 in Bengaluru, India. He began his career as a session musician in the 1960s, and went on to become a successful music producer and composer. He has produced and composed music for over 500 films, and has worked with some of the biggest names in the music industry. Biddu has won numerous awards for his work, including the Filmfare Award for Best Music Director in 1975, and the Filmfare Award for Best Music Director in 1977.
