Bill Tyrwhitt-Drake was an English cricketer who played for Middlesex and England. He was born on 5 November 1926 in Paddington, London, England. He was educated at Eton College and Trinity College, Cambridge. Tyrwhitt-Drake made his first-class debut for Middlesex in 1947 and went on to play for the county until 1962. He also played for the Gentlemen in the Gentlemen v Players matches. He made his Test debut for England against South Africa in 1951 and played in a total of nine Tests, the last of which was against Australia in 1961. Tyrwhitt-Drake was a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-pace bowler. He scored 1,945 runs in first-class cricket at an average of 24.90, with a highest score of 135. He took 44 wickets at an average of 33.86, with a best of 4/37. Tyrwhitt-Drake was a successful businessman and was a director of the family firm, Tyrwhitt-Drake & Co. He was also a member of the MCC and was President of the club in 1988. Tyrwhitt-Drake died on 28 April 2009 at the age of 82.

Thomas William Tyrwhitt-Drake (5 November 1926 – 8 March 2008) was an English first-class cricketer.

Tyrwhitt-Drake was born at Paddington in November 1926, to Reverend Charles William Tyrwhitt-Drake. He was educated at Haileybury, before going up to Trinity College, Cambridge. While studying at Cambridge he made his debut in first-class cricket for Cambridge University against Somerset at Bath in 1946. He made two further first-class appearances for Cambridge University, playing against the Marylebone Cricket Club in 1946 and Leicestershire in 1948. He scored 73 runs for Cambridge across six innings, with a top score of 33. Eleven years later he made a final appearance in first-class cricket for the Free Foresters against Oxford University. In addition to playing first-class cricket, Tyrwhitt-Drake also played minor counties cricket for Hertfordshire from 1946–58, making 85 appearances in the Minor Counties Championship.
