Bob Wilkerson is an American former professional basketball player who played in the National Basketball Association (NBA) from 1976 to 1985. He was born on August 15, 1954 in Anderson, Indiana. He attended Anderson High School and then went on to play college basketball at the University of Dayton. Wilkerson was selected by the Chicago Bulls in the first round of the 1976 NBA Draft. He played for the Bulls for two seasons before being traded to the Detroit Pistons in 1978. He played for the Pistons for three seasons before being traded to the San Diego Clippers in 1981. He played for the Clippers for two seasons before being traded to the New Jersey Nets in 1983. He played for the Nets for two seasons before retiring in 1985. During his nine-year NBA career, Wilkerson averaged 8.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game. He was also a member of the 1979 NBA All-Star team. After retiring from the NBA, Wilkerson returned to Anderson, Indiana and became a successful businessman. He is the owner of several businesses, including a car dealership, a real estate company, and a restaurant. As of 2021, Bob Wilkerson's net worth is estimated to be roughly $10 million.
