Bobby Bedi is an Indian film producer, director, and executive. He is best known for producing the 1994 film Bandit Queen, which won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi. He is also the founder of Kaleidoscope Entertainment, a film production and distribution company. Bobby Bedi was born on 12 February 1956 in New Delhi, India. He attended St. Stephen's College, Delhi, and graduated with a degree in Economics. He then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. Bobby Bedi began his career in the film industry in the early 1980s, working as an assistant director on several films. He then went on to produce and direct his own films, including the critically acclaimed Bandit Queen. He has also produced and directed several other films, including the award-winning The Rising: Ballad of Mangal Pandey and the romantic comedy Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Bobby Bedi is currently the Chairman and Managing Director of Kaleidoscope Entertainment. He is also the founder of the Bobby Bedi Foundation, which works to promote education and health in India.
