Bobby Duncum was an American professional wrestler and actor. He was born on August 14, 1944 in Austin, Texas. He was best known for his appearances with the World Wide Wrestling Federation (WWWF) and the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA). Duncum began his wrestling career in the mid-1960s, working for various promotions in the United States and Canada. He was a two-time NWA World Tag Team Champion, with partners such as Bob Orton Jr., Dick Murdoch, and Dusty Rhodes. He also held the NWA United States Tag Team Championship with Dick Murdoch. In the late 1970s, Duncum began appearing in the WWWF, where he feuded with the likes of Chief Jay Strongbow, Tony Garea, and Larry Zbyszko. He also had a memorable feud with Andre the Giant, which culminated in a steel cage match at Madison Square Garden. In addition to his wrestling career, Duncum also appeared in several films and television shows, including the movie "The Wrestler" (1974) and the television series "The Incredible Hulk" (1978). Duncum died on January 24, 1997, at the age of 52. He was inducted into the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2002.
