Brad Self is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who currently plays for the Peterborough Petes of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). He was born on February 27, 1981 in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. Self began his hockey career in the OHL with the Peterborough Petes in 1998. He played four seasons with the Petes, and was named to the OHL All-Rookie Team in 1999. In 2002, he was drafted by the Nashville Predators in the fourth round of the NHL Entry Draft. Self spent the next four seasons playing in the American Hockey League (AHL) and the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL). In 2006, he signed with the ECHL's Florida Everblades, and was named to the ECHL All-Star Team in 2007. In 2008, Self returned to the OHL, signing with the Peterborough Petes. He has since played for the Petes for the past 12 seasons, and was named team captain in 2011. Self has also represented Canada internationally, playing for the Canadian National Team at the 2004 World Championships. As of 2021, Brad Self's net worth is estimated to be roughly $1 million.
