Brian Kingman is an American former professional baseball player who played in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a right-handed pitcher from 1978 to 1986. He was born on July 27, 1954 in Los Angeles, California. Kingman attended the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and was drafted by the San Francisco Giants in the first round of the 1976 Major League Baseball draft. He made his MLB debut with the Giants on April 10, 1978. He was traded to the Oakland Athletics in 1981 and played for the Athletics until 1983. He then played for the New York Mets from 1983 to 1985 and the San Diego Padres in 1986. Kingman's career highlights include being named an All-Star in 1981, leading the American League in strikeouts in 1982, and throwing a no-hitter against the New York Yankees on May 14, 1984. He retired from baseball in 1986 with a career record of 81-104 and a 3.90 ERA. As of 2021, Brian Kingman's net worth is estimated to be around $2 million.
