Brian Winters is a professional American football offensive guard who currently plays for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the New York Jets in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft. Winters attended Hudson High School in Hudson, Ohio, where he was a three-year starter at offensive tackle. He was rated as a three-star recruit by Rivals.com and was ranked as the No. 39 offensive tackle in the nation. Winters attended Kent State University, where he played for the Kent State Golden Flashes football team from 2009 to 2012. He started all 12 games at left tackle as a freshman in 2009. As a sophomore in 2010, he started all 12 games at left tackle and was named to the All-MAC second team. As a junior in 2011, he started all 12 games at left tackle and was named to the All-MAC first team. On October 2, 2016 against the Seattle Seahawks, Winters hit defensive end Michael Bennett head-to-head after a play, which drew a personal foul (15 yard penalty) and caused him to leave the game with concussion symptoms. He was placed on injured reserve on December 20, 2016.
