Chang Jen-hu is a Chinese politician who served as the Vice Premier of the People's Republic of China from 1983 to 1988. He was born on 18 March, 1927 in Ningbo, Chekiang. Chang Jen-hu was a member of the Communist Party of China and served in various positions in the Chinese government. He was the Vice Premier of the State Council from 1983 to 1988. He was also the Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation from 1979 to 1983. Chang Jen-hu was a member of the 11th and 12th Central Committees of the Communist Party of China. He was also a member of the Standing Committee of the 8th National People's Congress. Chang Jen-hu was awarded the Order of the Precious Tripod in 1988. He died on 28 April, 2020 at the age of 92.

Chang received several honorary doctorates, including from the Kyung Hee University in South Korea, Kokushikan University and Sōka University in Japan, and Saint Petersburg State University in Russia. Chang also received an honorary doctorate in humanities from his alma mater Clark University in 2006.
