He is best known for his roles in the television series The Bill, Casualty, and EastEnders. Jury began his career in the theatre, appearing in productions such as The Rocky Horror Show, The Taming of the Shrew, and The Merchant of Venice. He made his television debut in the BBC series Juliet Bravo in 1982. He went on to appear in a variety of television shows, including The Bill, Casualty, EastEnders, and Holby City. Jury has also written and directed several plays, including The Last Supper and The Last Temptation of Christ. His writing credits include, The Dig, a two act comedy for the Cambridge Theatre Company, Mancini’s Empire, One Inch of Heaven, Roeg’s Rage, Wired, plus numerous episodes of The Bill and The Doctors, Casualty and Holby City.
