Chris and his wife Meridith launched RMI Recordings in June 2017, a partnership with Disney Music Group and Hollywood Records which seeks to sign and develop "digital-first" talent.
In 2013 Chris launched the Cyrus family YouTube channel "Seriously Cyrus" with partner Meridith Valiando. Hailed as the family's attempt at "total Internet Domination", all "Seriously Cyrus" channel programming, which includes daily shows by family members such as Billy Ray Cyrus and Noah Cyrus, is being produced by Chris and Meridith for their consulting shingle RECon Inc.
In 2011 Chris co-founded DigiTour Media, producers of the world's first YouTube tour, with his wife Meridith Valiando Rojas. On May 7, 2012 Chris was recognized by the Los Angeles Business Journal's annual "20 in their 20s" list as a notable Social Media entrepreneur.
