He is best known for his work on the films "The Dirties" (2013), "Operation Avalanche" (2016), and "The Standoff at Sparrow Creek" (2018). He is also the founder of the production company, Super Channel. Wallis was born in Vancouver, Canada, and grew up in the city's Kitsilano neighbourhood. He attended the University of British Columbia, where he studied film and media production. After graduating, he worked as a freelance director and editor for various television networks, including the CBC, CTV, and Global. Wallis made his feature film debut with the 2013 comedy-drama "The Dirties", which he wrote, directed, and produced. The film was a critical success, and won the Grand Jury Prize at the Slamdance Film Festival. He followed this up with the 2016 found-footage thriller "Operation Avalanche", which he wrote, directed, and produced. In 2018, Wallis wrote, directed, and produced the crime thriller "The Standoff at Sparrow Creek". The film was a critical success, and won the Grand Jury Prize at the Fantasia International Film Festival. Wallis is also the founder of the production company Super Channel, which produces feature films, television series, and documentaries. He is currently in pre-production on his next feature film, "The Last Man".
