Dave Dornseif is a retired American ice hockey player who played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Minnesota North Stars, New York Rangers, and Los Angeles Kings. He was born on August 12, 1956 in Edina, Minnesota. Dornseif was drafted by the Minnesota North Stars in the fourth round of the 1976 NHL Amateur Draft. He played in the NHL for seven seasons, from 1978 to 1985. During his career, he scored a total of 33 goals and added 64 assists for 97 points in 286 games. After retiring from the NHL, Dornseif became a coach. He was an assistant coach for the Minnesota North Stars from 1985 to 1988, and then the head coach of the San Diego Gulls of the International Hockey League from 1988 to 1990. Dornseif currently resides in Edina, Minnesota. His net worth is estimated to be around $1 million.
