Dmitry Abramovitch is a 38-year-old Russian bobsledder who was born on 30 October, 1982 in Krasnoyarsk, Russia. He is a two-time Olympic medalist, having won a gold medal in the four-man bobsleigh at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, and a bronze medal in the two-man bobsleigh at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang. Abramovitch began his bobsleigh career in 2002, and has since competed in numerous World Cup and European Cup events. He has won two gold medals in the four-man bobsleigh at the World Championships, in 2013 and 2017. Abramovitch is married to fellow bobsledder Anastasia Kochergina, and they have two children. He is currently a member of the Russian national bobsleigh team.
