Ed Brandenburg was an American actor and stuntman who worked in the film industry from the 1920s to the 1950s. He was born in Lexington, Kentucky, on May 15, 1896. He began his career as a stuntman in the silent era, and went on to appear in over 100 films and television shows. He was best known for his work in westerns, and was often cast as a villain or henchman. He also worked as a stunt coordinator and stunt double. Brandenburg was married to actress and stuntwoman Helen Gibson, and the two often worked together. He died on August 8, 1957, in Los Angeles, California.
