Eddy Schepers is a Belgian former professional cyclist who competed from 1977 to 1988. He was born on 12 December 1955 in Tienen, Belgium. Schepers was a successful professional cyclist, winning the Tour of Flanders in 1983 and the Amstel Gold Race in 1984. He also won the Belgian National Road Race Championships in 1983 and 1984. He also competed in the Tour de France, finishing in the top 10 in 1983 and 1984. Schepers retired from professional cycling in 1988 and has since become a cycling coach. He is currently the head coach of the Belgian national cycling team. Schepers is married and has two children. He currently lives in Tienen, Belgium.
