2017

In July 2017, Edu began his solo career with the "Rebirth of Shadows Tour", a historical tour that featured hits from his times in Angra, with songs from the albums "Rebirth", "Hunters and Prey", "Temple of Shadows", "Aurora Consurgens" and "Aqua". There were 50 shows, most of them sold out, the world tour passed through Brazil, Colombia, Europe and Japan.

2013

The problem wasn't with my vocal chords [sic], I had a reflux problem. It's something that happens in your stomach – when you start eating things that are not so good, like Coca-Cola or coffee, your acid starts becoming bigger and bigger and then you feel the acid going up into your vocal chords. Formally I didn't have any problem with my vocal chords, my vocal chords were OK, but I had a high level of acid so often that I needed a break. I started singing very bad, and I didn't know why. When I would go to doctors, they would say I was fine, they didn't see any problem with my vocal chords. It was only a few years later when I found out that the problem was with the acid. Then I started getting treatment, and my voice started to become better and better. Nowadays my voice is OK, and this is very nice. I can sing Angra songs normally again, as I did in 2001 and 2002.

2011

Throughout his career, he has sold more than 1 million albums, toured worldwide many times (2 times in Rock in Rio festival: 2011/2013), composed important songs such as "New Era", "Heroes of Sand", "Bleeding Heart", "Wishing Well, "Spread Your Fire", and "Angels and Demons".

Edu performed poorly at Rock in Rio 2011, after which he started his treatment. Edu Falaschi talked about this problems in an interview for a Russian website in 2012:

2006

In 2006 the artist created his own band, ALMAH, that quickly reached enormous international success. The band has released 5 studio albums and toured worldwide.

In 2006, under the project name Almah, he released his first solo album, self-titled. In 2008, as a full band, Almah released their second album, Fragile Equality.

2000

But the great visibility came in August 2000, when he became the singer and one of the main composer of Angra, where he performed until 2012. With ANGRA, Edu recorded 6 albums (Rebirth, Hunters and Prey, Rebirth Live in São Paulo, Temple of Shadows, Aurora Consurgens and Aqua).

The Brazilian band Angra was looking for new members, and after a trial among other vocalists, Falaschi was invited to join the band in 2000. As in 2012, Edu left the band due to problems within it.

1998

In 1998, he was invited by the musicians of the group Symbols of Time to produce the first CD of the band, after the production, Eduardo assumed the position as vocalist and the group decided to be called only Symbols. In parallel, Edu participated in the album Ordinary Existence of the band Venus as singer, arranger and voice producer.

Falaschi decided to take a break for almost four years. In the middle of 1998, he was invited by the band Symbols to produce their first album. The leader of the band was Tito Falaschi, his brother. Falaschi ended up producing the album and also being a member of the band. While their first album self-titled Symbols was being released, he was invited to perform in the album Ordinary Existence by Venus. In 2000, Symbols released their second album, called Call to the End.

1994

In 1994, the heavy metal band Iron Maiden was looking for a new singer through an international contest sponsored by the band, resulting in thousands of tapes being sent in by would-be rock stars. With the increasing recognition of Mitrium, Falaschi had the chance of taking part in the contest. Unexpectedly, he was one of the selected singers from Brazil (along with Andre Matos, then vocalist of Angra) and later from all around the world, getting in contact with Dick Bell, production director of Iron Maiden Holding LTD. In the end, the band did not pick Falaschi.

In spite of the professional career success, on August 5, 1994 Falaschi was forced to leave Mitrium due to personal problems, but he kept playing just for fun with his friends, and later recorded a demo, with eight simple rock n' roll songs with a band called Opium.

1991

Mitrium began Falaschi's professional career as vocalist and composer. In 1991, they recorded their first demo tape with the song "Just Remember". Afterwards, they recorded the second demo with the songs "The Shadows" and "You Can Choose The Side of Darkness", both written by Eduardo Falaschi.

1989

Falaschi, of Italian descent, began in his adolescence as a guitarist of a cover band in Santos city. In the second half of 1989, he attended a music festival with some friends from the school and got the third place. Some members of the band decided to invest in their own songs and then came Mitrium in 1990, their first band that released an LP in 1993 that caught the attention of the English group IRON MAIDEN, who in 1994 invited Edu Falaschi to participate in the contest to replace Bruce Dickinson.

He played the drums for six months in a blues band with his friends, and he also played bass and guitar and sang backing vocals in a cover band. In 1989, he was invited by school friends to join a band as a singer to play at a music contest. They recorded a demo tape and played for 5,000 people. Subsequently, in 1990, some of the band members decided to form Mitrium, a rock band, in which they played their own compositions.
