Emma-Jayne Wilson is a Canadian jockey who has been riding professionally since 1998. She is the first female jockey to win the Queen's Plate, the oldest and most prestigious race in Canada. She has also won the Canadian Triple Crown, the Prince of Wales Stakes, the Breeders' Stakes, and the Woodbine Oaks. Wilson was born in Brampton, Ontario, and began riding horses at the age of five. She began her professional career at Woodbine Racetrack in 1998, and has since ridden in races across North America. She has won over 1,500 races, including the Queen's Plate in 2008, the Canadian Triple Crown in 2009, and the Prince of Wales Stakes in 2010. Wilson has been named the Sovereign Award Jockey of the Year four times, and was inducted into the Canadian Horse Racing Hall of Fame in 2017. She is currently the leading female jockey in Canada. In 2015, Wilson won the Shergar Cup alongside teammates Sammy Jo Bell and Hayley Turner, marking the first victory for an all-female side in this event.

On September 16, 2012, Wilson joined jockey Francine Villeneuve to become only the second Canadian woman to achieve the 1,000 career victories plateau, as she rode "D'wildcat Gold" to victory in the first race at Woodbine. Three days later by taking the fifth and sixth races at Woodbine, Emma-Jayne moved ahead of Villeneuve as Canada's all-time winningest female jockey, a distinction that Villeneuve had held for over 10 years.
