Emmanuel Quarshie is a Ghanaian politician and former Member of Parliament for the Akim Oda Constituency in the Eastern Region of Ghana. He was born on 6 May 1953 in Accra, Ghana. He is currently the Minister of State in charge of Public Procurement. He attended the University of Ghana, Legon, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a Master of Arts degree in International Relations. He also holds a Master of Science degree in Public Administration from the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom. He began his political career in 1992 when he was elected as the Member of Parliament for the Akim Oda Constituency. He served in this capacity until 2000. He was then appointed as the Minister of State in charge of Public Procurement in 2001. Emmanuel Quarshie is married to Mrs. Comfort Quarshie and they have four children.
