Ephrem M'Bom is a Cameroonian politician and diplomat who served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2004 to 2006. He was born in the village of Nkolbisson, near Yaoundé, Cameroon. M'Bom studied at the University of Yaoundé, where he obtained a degree in law in 1979. He then went on to pursue a master's degree in international law at the University of Paris I Pantheon-Sorbonne. M'Bom began his career in the Cameroonian diplomatic service in 1982, serving as a diplomat in the Cameroonian embassies in France, the United Kingdom, and the United States. In 2004, he was appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs, a post he held until 2006. M'Bom is currently the President of the Cameroonian National Assembly. He is also a member of the Central Committee of the Cameroon People's Democratic Movement (CPDM). M'Bom is 66 years old. He is married and has three children. His height is 5 feet 8 inches (1.73 m).
