At Salon Boehlert won the 2002 American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers' Deems Taylor Award for music journalism, for a series of articles in 2001 on the radio industry. The series was also shortlisted for the Gerald Loeb Award for Distinguished Business and Financial Journalism.
