In February 2020, GAM Systematic won Eurohedge's 'Managed Futures – Under $500m' award for 2019.
In 2020, Kirk donated £20,000 to the Department of Engineering at the University of Cambridge to launch the Kirk Global Challenge. The challenge is a competition to help students develop ideas to "help jumpstart economic growth in the developing world."
In 2020, the Turner-Kirk Charitable Trust donated £250,000 to the Cambridge Conservation Initiative to establish the Turner Fellowship Programme, which brings researchers and practitioners from academia, law, politics and NGOs to the University of Cambridge for a three-month research residency.
In 2019, the Turner-Kirk Charitable Trust donated £15,000 to Soton UAV, a research group at the University of Southampton studying how unmanned aircraft can be used to monitor and conserve rural locations in the developing world and mitigate the effects of climate change.
