Francisco Grajales Palacios is a Mexican politician and Deputy of the LXIV Legislature of the Mexican Congress representing the state of Jalisco. He is a member of the National Action Party. Palacios was born on 18 August 1956 in Tonalá, Jalisco. He obtained a degree in business administration from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara in 1979 and a master's degree in public administration from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México in 1985. He began his professional career in the private sector, working in the banking and financial sector, and later in the public sector, where he held various positions in the state government of Jalisco. He was the state's Secretary of Finance and Administration from 1995 to 1997 and Secretary of Tourism from 1997 to 1998. In 2000, Palacios was elected to the Chamber of Deputies for the LX Legislature of the Mexican Congress, representing the state of Jalisco. He was reelected in 2003 and 2006. During his time in the Chamber of Deputies, he served as the president of the Commission for the Strengthening of Federalism and the president of the Commission for the Strengthening of the Federal Tax System. Palacios is married and has three children.
