Frank Armitage is an Australian production designer and animator who has worked on a number of films and television shows. He is best known for his work on the animated feature film The Lion King (1994). Armitage was born in Geelong, Australia in 1924. He began his career in animation in the 1940s, working on a number of shorts and feature films. He was a production designer on the animated feature film The Lion King (1994), for which he won an Annie Award for Outstanding Individual Achievement for Production Design in an Animated Feature Production. Armitage has also worked on a number of television shows, including The Simpsons, The Ren & Stimpy Show, and Rugrats. He has also worked on a number of video games, including The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask.
