He began his career at the age of 16 with local club VVV Venlo, before moving to PSV Eindhoven in 1947. He made his debut for the Dutch national team in 1950 and went on to make a total of 24 appearances for the team. De Graaf was a key member of the PSV team that won the Dutch championship in 1955 and 1956. He also won the Dutch Cup in 1956 and the European Cup Winners' Cup in 1958. He retired from professional football in 1960. De Graaf was a versatile defender who was known for his strong tackling and his ability to read the game. He was also a good passer of the ball and was known for his leadership qualities. After retiring from football, De Graaf became a coach and managed several clubs in the Netherlands, including PSV Eindhoven, FC Utrecht and FC Den Bosch. He also managed the Dutch national team from 1975 to 1977. De Graaf is now 97 years old and has a net worth of $1 million. He is married and has two children.
