G. G. Sato is a Japanese professional wrestler, better known by his ring name Gedo. He is currently signed to New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), where he is a former six-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion. Sato was born on 9 August, 1978 in Ichikawa, Chiba, Japan. He began his professional wrestling career in 1997, training under the tutelage of Animal Hamaguchi. He made his debut in 1998, and soon joined the NJPW Dojo. In 2000, Sato formed a tag team with Jado, and the two began competing in NJPW's junior heavyweight division. The team was successful, and the two won the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship six times. In addition to his success in NJPW, Sato has also competed in various promotions around the world, including All Japan Pro Wrestling, Pro Wrestling Noah, and Ring of Honor. As of 2021, G. G. Sato began his professional career signing with the Philadelphia Phillies organization in 2000 before making his on field debut for the Batavia Muckdogs of Minor League Baseball in 2001 hitting .261 with 4 home runs and 21 RBI's. In 2002 he played again in Batavia as well as the Gulf Coast League. He was promoted to the Lakewood BlueClaws for the 2003 season and hit .247 with 6 home runs and 42 RBI's.
