George Kunda is a Zambian politician who served as Vice President of Zambia from 2008 to 2011. He was born on 26 February 1956 in Luanshya, Zambia. He is currently 64 years old. Kunda attended the University of Zambia, where he obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree in 1979. He then went on to pursue a Master of Laws degree at the University of London in 1982. Kunda began his political career in 1991 when he was appointed as the Minister of Justice and Attorney General. He served in this position until 2001. In 2002, he was appointed as the Minister of Home Affairs and in 2006, he was appointed as the Minister of Foreign Affairs. Kunda was appointed as the Vice President of Zambia in 2008 and served in this position until 2011. He is currently a Member of Parliament for Luanshya Central Constituency. Kunda is married to his wife, Mary Kunda, and they have two children together. Kunda has an estimated net worth of $2 million.
