Gerry Reynolds (British politician) is a British politician who served as a Member of Parliament (MP) for the Labour Party from 1966 to 1983. He was born on 17 July 1927 in London, England. Reynolds was educated at the London School of Economics and Political Science, and was a lecturer in economics at the University of London from 1954 to 1966. He was elected to the House of Commons in 1966, representing the constituency of Islington North. He served as a Shadow Minister for Education and Science from 1974 to 1979, and was a member of the Select Committee on Education and Science from 1979 to 1983. Reynolds was a strong advocate for the rights of the disabled, and was a founding member of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Disability. He was also a member of the National Council for Civil Liberties, and was a strong supporter of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament. Reynolds retired from politics in 1983, and has since been involved in a number of charitable organisations. He is a patron of the British Deaf Association, and is a trustee of the charity Scope. He is also a patron of the charity Mencap. Reynolds is married to his wife, Margaret, and has two children. He is currently 92 years old.

Reynolds died of stomach cancer after a short illness on 7 June 1969 in his 42nd year. At the time of his unexpected death he was considered to be a "rising star" in Parliament, and was being talked of as a potential future Prime Minister.
