H. Gordon Woodside

Since 2000 Gordon has been developing a major motion picture project on the Life of Paul of Tarsus entitled, 'Paul's Story: Between Two Worlds' -a 10 hour motion picture for digital streaming in ten parts.

From 1994-1998 HG served as Post Production Executive for The Motion Picture Bond Company in Toronto ensuring delivery of over 50 features per annum to Distributors for Banks and Lenders.

In 1980 he returned to Canada and from 1986-1993 he was appointed Director of Post Production for Robert Lanto's Alliance Communications where he worked with Oscar winning directors Michael Anderson, Sidney Furie, Bruce Beresford and Emmy Award winning director Brian Gibson and served as Associate Producer on several films notably 'Gate II' and 'Berlin Lady'.

In 1978 he joined Andrew Quicke Associates (UK's foremost Christian producer) in London as production manager, film editor & director of TV docs for Campus Crusade for Christ. Gordon edited the first 16 foreign language versions of The JESUS Film for producer John Heyman.

In 1973 HG wrote and directed 'The Last Call' a 16mm drama set in war-torn Belfast and later worked there directing commercials and three documentaries as director & film editor for Evangelical Outreach Ltd.

His short 35mm film, 'First Encounter' enjoyed three screenings with Vittorio di Sica's 'The Bicycle Thief' at the National Film Theater in London 1972.

In 1970 in London, UK, Gordon Woodside pioneered the use of Sony portable video in creating the North Kensington Community Television Project which resulted in obtaining a full scholarship to the London Film School from 1971-73.

H. Gordon Woodside began making movies while still in High School. He directed & edited a 16mm documentary 'Spring Mobilization Against the War in Vietnam - New York City 1967' which premiered in London, UK in March 1968 on the eve of London's first anti-war demo.
