Hank Weber is a former American politician who served as a member of the North Dakota House of Representatives from 1973 to 1981. He was born on December 26, 1924 in Wheatland, North Dakota. Weber attended the University of North Dakota and graduated with a degree in political science. He then went on to serve in the United States Army during World War II. After the war, he returned to North Dakota and began a career in politics. Weber was first elected to the North Dakota House of Representatives in 1972 and served until 1981. During his time in office, he was a strong advocate for education reform and was instrumental in the passage of the Education Improvement Act of 1977. Weber was also a strong supporter of the North Dakota State University and was a member of the Board of Regents from 1981 to 1989. He was also a member of the North Dakota State Senate from 1989 to 1993. Weber is currently 98 years old and is retired from politics. He is married to his wife, Mary, and has two children. He is a member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
