Harald Link is a Swiss businessman and entrepreneur. He is the Chairman, CEO, and Owner of B.Grimm, a leading Thai conglomerate with interests in energy, healthcare, and real estate. He is also the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Swiss-Thai Chamber of Commerce. Link was born in Basel, Switzerland, on 12 January 1955. He studied economics at the University of Basel and graduated with a degree in economics in 1979. Link began his career in the banking industry, working for Credit Suisse in Zurich and then for UBS in Basel. In 1985, he joined B.Grimm, a Thai conglomerate, as a financial advisor. He was appointed CEO in 1989 and Chairman in 1992. Under Link’s leadership, B.Grimm has grown to become one of the largest conglomerates in Thailand. The company has interests in energy, healthcare, and real estate, and is active in more than 20 countries. Link is also the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Swiss-Thai Chamber of Commerce. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Swiss-Asian Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Swiss-Asian Business Council. Link is married and has two children. He is a passionate skier and enjoys playing golf.
