He is best known for his work on the films 'The Olsen Gang' (1968), 'The Olsen Gang in Jutland' (1971), 'The Olsen Gang on the Track' (1975), and 'The Olsen Gang Sees Red' (1978). Bahs began his career as a journalist and editor for the Danish newspaper Politiken in the 1950s. He then moved into screenwriting, writing for television and film. He wrote the screenplay for the 1968 film 'The Olsen Gang', which was a huge success in Denmark and spawned a series of sequels. Bahs has won several awards for his work, including the Danish Film Academy's Bodil Award for Best Screenplay in 1971 for 'The Olsen Gang in Jutland'.
