Since 2006, Hugo also cooperate with the Czech violinist Bohuslav Zola, with whom he inter alia, the Russian silent film "Kreutzer Sonata" by Gustave Machaty 1926 guidance.

1996

Works together with Daniel Wayenberg, Ramses Shaffy, Louis van Dijk, Pim Jacobs, Thijs van Leer, Bernard Drukker, Dorothy Donagan, Mitchell Zeidwig, Jan Vayne, and in particular master pianist Igor Roma (first prize winner of the Liszt Competition in 1996). Bernard Drukker saw in him a unique talent for the spontaneous support of 'silent' films, an art for which he is regularly asked. He also composes music for corporate films, art projects and documentaries, some of which were broadcast on television now. In addition, he workshops for companies, and in cooperation with others (including Midas Dekkers) he uses music in a special way as a means to create and represent insights. With his program 'Wish Concert' in the 90s was a prelude to a new kind of action, including verbal interludes and poetry have a place. Hugo van Neck is seen as a versatile musician with an amazing virtuosity and an incisive, burlesque and romantic spirit.

In 1975 he made his big debut in France, where he was during the music festival at Vence, a big success as a classical pianist, jazz pianist and improviser. With his virtuosity and versatility as a classical pianist and improviser, he much regarded by colleagues as Jean Pierre Rampal, Maria Jao Pires, Görgy Zamphir, Martha Argerich, George Pludermacher, Daniel Wayenberg and others in the same year he made his debut on the Dutch TV with a own work for piano and orchestra, followed by several appearances in "Fist of friend and admirer William Duys. Many times he came on the radio at home and abroad as soloist, but also as a facilitator of, inter alia, Roberta Alexander, and Christina Elizabeth Kooy Mans Harvey.

1970

From 1970 to 1977 he was lecturer at the Utrecht Conservatory. In cooperation with the American opera director Rhoda Levine he taught improvisation lessons at the Dutch Opera Foundation and improvisation master classes at the Amsterdam Conservatory.

1966

Yet he remained until 1966 almost entirely self-taught and studied many styles of music. There he was emphatically advised admission exam to the Amsterdam Conservatory. He chose a virtuoso final program and brought it to the commission unanimously which caused pandemonium. Exceptional, but in the fourth year he qualified for the main piano. Then he visited the Amsterdam Music Lyceum, where the soloists were trained by teacher Karel Hilsum. He also had lessons for 2 years from the pianist and composer Hans Henkemans.

1951

Hugo began to play piano in 1951 after his father had an old piano. After a few hours playing Hugo everything that he ever had 'saved'. A teacher recognized him immediately as an extraordinary talented prodigy.
