Jacques N'Guea is a Cameroonian politician who served as Prime Minister of Cameroon from 1996 to 1997. He was born in the village of Nkolbisson, near Yaoundé, the capital of Cameroon. N'Guea studied at the University of Yaoundé, where he obtained a degree in economics. He then went on to pursue a master's degree in economics at the University of Paris. After completing his studies, he returned to Cameroon and began working in the Ministry of Finance. In 1996, N'Guea was appointed Prime Minister of Cameroon by President Paul Biya. During his tenure, he worked to improve the country's economy and reduce poverty. He also worked to improve the country's infrastructure and promote economic development. In 1997, N'Guea was replaced as Prime Minister by Peter Mafany Musonge. After leaving office, he returned to the private sector and became a consultant for the World Bank.
