Despite his success in producing independent hits, Goldman has not abandoned documentary film-making. In 2010 he produced the Dan Hurlin documentary, Puppet, and he recently wrapped on Insha'Allah Democracy, filmmaker Mohammed Ali Naqvi's personal exploration of the turbulent post 9/11 politics in Pakistan. Insha'Allah Democracy, which follows exiled former Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf's quest to re-win Pakistan's presidential election, was recently named one of the 12 Must-See Documentaries About Current World Politics by HuffPost.
