Jeanne Evert is an American former professional tennis player. She was born on October 7, 1957 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She is the younger sister of tennis legend Chris Evert. Jeanne Evert was a top-ranked junior player and won the USTA National Girls' 18s singles title in 1975. She was a three-time All-American at the University of Miami and won the AIAW National Intercollegiate singles title in 1979. Jeanne Evert turned professional in 1979 and won two singles titles and one doubles title during her career. She reached a career-high singles ranking of World No. 16 in 1981 and a career-high doubles ranking of World No. 8 in 1982. Jeanne Evert retired from professional tennis in 1984 and is now a tennis coach. She is the mother of professional tennis player Alexandra Stevenson.

She won all four of her Fed Cup matches for the U.S. in 1974.
