She is best known for her work on the television series Sex and the City, for which she was a writer and executive producer. Bicks began her career in the entertainment industry in the late 1980s, writing for the television series The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd. She went on to write for the series Sisters, The Larry Sanders Show, and Dream On. In 1998, she joined the writing staff of Sex and the City, and was promoted to executive producer in 2000. She remained with the show until its conclusion in 2004. In addition to her work on Sex and the City, Bicks has written for the television series Men in Trees, The Big C, and Divorce. She has also written the films The Object of My Affection and What a Girl Wants. As of 2021, Jenny Bicks's net worth is estimated to be roughly $10 million.
