Cruickshank began her career in television in 2002, when she was hired as a VJ for MuchMusic. She then moved to MTV Canada in 2006, where she hosted the popular show The After Show. She also hosted the MuchMusic Video Awards in 2008 and 2009. In 2010, Cruickshank joined CTV as a co-host of the show The Social. She also hosted the show Canada's Smartest Person in 2014.
