Timeline
She portrayed "Martha Cratchet", Tiny Tim's sister on "The Christmas Carol" float in the 2002 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Jewel was cast as "Fan" Scrooge's sister and "Martha Cratchit" in the Broadway production of "A Christmas Carol", with Tim Curry at Madison Square Garden for the 2001 Holiday season and again in the 2002 production, with F. Murray Abraham.
In April, 2000, Jewel and her little sister, Blaire Restaneo, auditioned for the National Tour of "Annie", created and directed by Martin Charnin. Blaire played the youngest orphan, "Molly", for the first month then Jewel joined her and played the role of "Duffy", then eventually got to play "Annie" but, soon after, both Jewel and Blaire were hired on Broadway in "Annie Get Your Gun". During an August break in the "Annie" tour, Jewel went to Nashville to record another Christmas CD with her sister, Blaire, entitled "Merry Christmas from LA". This time, the girls were joined by several of Nashville's more well- known country musicians. Recently, another of Jewel's recordings has chosen to be included on the motion picture soundtrack of the new "Casper" movie. Jewel worked with her sister, Blaire, at the Marquis Theater on Broadway for about a year with Cheryl Ladd, Patrick Cassidy, Reba McEntire, Brent Barett', Crystal Bernard, Tom Wopat, Conrad John Schuck, Larry Storch and many great actors.
Jewel's Christmas CD, "A Christmas Jewel II", released in 1998, is sold in music stores to help raise money for Pittsburgh Children's Hospital. The CD can be purchased at select Sam Goody, Camelot, National Record Mart, Wal-Mart, Record Rack, Jukes, Colony, Sounds Familiar, and at all of Jewel's live performances.

At age four, she recorded a Christmas CD to raise money for Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where her little cousin, Anthony, was treated for cancer. "A Christmas Jewel" triggered national media attention and catapulted Jewel into the national spotlight with a story on the front page of the Wall Street Journal. At age five, Jewel completed a motivational CD titled "Show the World", and a music video of the same title featuring Kurt Angle. Jewel enjoys helping other children who are ill and those who are less fortunate.
