Jewgienija Biczugowa is a Russian cross-country skier who was born in 1958 in the Soviet Union. She is a two-time Olympic gold medalist and a four-time world champion. She has won a total of seven medals at the Winter Olympics and World Championships. Biczugowa began her career in the late 1970s and quickly rose to prominence in the sport. She won her first Olympic gold medal in the 4x5 km relay at the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid. She also won a bronze medal in the 10 km event at the same Olympics. At the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo, Biczugowa won her second Olympic gold medal in the 4x5 km relay. She also won a silver medal in the 10 km event and a bronze medal in the 5 km event. Biczugowa won her first world championship gold medal in the 4x5 km relay in 1982. She went on to win three more gold medals in the 4x5 km relay at the 1985, 1987, and 1989 World Championships. She also won a bronze medal in the 10 km event at the 1985 World Championships. Biczugowa retired from competitive skiing in 1990. She is currently 65 years old. Her net worth is not publicly known.
