She appeared in Sky 1's Stan Lee's Lucky Man as Lily-Anne Lau and co-starred in the film Crazy Rich Asians, starring Constance Wu and Michelle Yeoh, and released by Warner Bros. in 2018 as Amanda "Mandy" Ling, Manhattan socialite and Nick's former girlfriend.
In 2012, Lusi joined the cast of the BBC's BAFTA award-winning medical drama series Holby City, making her debut in Series 14. She played Tara Lo. In 2013, she left the cast when her character died during neurosurgery. Her final episode aired on 16 April 2013. Her other television credits include Law & Order: UK and Josh.
In 2009, Lusi played Princess Li Hua in KRU Studios' The Malay Chronicles: Bloodlines. The film required Lusi to speak Bahasa Melayu, which she had to learn phonetically.
