Jo Siejka is an Australian professional basketball player who currently plays for the Melbourne Boomers of the Women's National Basketball League (WNBL). She was born on 11 September, 1980 in Hobart, Australia. Siejka attended the University of Tasmania, where she played college basketball for the Tasmanian Devils. She was named the Tasmanian Devils' Most Valuable Player in 2002 and 2003. Siejka was drafted by the Melbourne Boomers in the 2004 WNBL Draft. She has since become one of the Boomers' most consistent players, winning the WNBL's Most Valuable Player award in 2008 and 2009. She was also named to the All-WNBL First Team in 2008 and 2009. Siejka has also represented Australia in international competition. She was a member of the Australian team that won the bronze medal at the 2006 FIBA World Championship for Women.
