Joel Scherban is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who currently plays for the ECHL's Brampton Beast. He was born on April 22, 1980 in Canada. Scherban began his professional career in the ECHL in 2006 with the Dayton Bombers. He then moved to the Central Hockey League in 2007, playing for the Laredo Bucks and the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees. In 2008, he returned to the ECHL, playing for the Johnstown Chiefs and the Elmira Jackals. In 2009, Scherban signed with the Brampton Beast of the ECHL, where he has played ever since. He has been a member of the Beast's leadership group since 2011, and was named team captain in 2014. Scherban has also represented Canada in international competition, playing for Team Canada at the 2008 Spengler Cup. As of 2021, Joel Scherban's net worth is estimated to be roughly $1 million.
