John Allen (athlete) began his career in racewalking in the late 1940s, and he quickly became one of the top racewalkers in the United States. He won the U.S. National Racewalking Championship in 1951 and 1952, and he was the first American to break the four-minute mile in racewalking. In 1952, John Allen (athlete) competed in the Summer Olympics in Helsinki, Finland, where he finished in sixth place in the 20 km racewalk. He also competed in the 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne, Australia, but he did not finish the race. John Allen (athlete) is now 80 years old. He has not revealed his current net worth.
