He has also directed episodes of the series The Americans, The Leftovers, and The Path. Ross was born on October 14, 1979 in Omaha, Nebraska. He attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film and New Media. Ross began his career in the entertainment industry as a production assistant on the television series The West Wing. He then went on to work as a production assistant on the series The Shield and as a production coordinator on the series The Unit. In 2010, Ross made his directorial debut with the short film The Last Day. He then went on to direct episodes of the television series The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead, The Americans, The Leftovers, and The Path. In addition to his work in television, Ross has also directed the feature films The Last Day (2010) and The Terror (2015). As of 2021, John Ross's net worth is estimated to be roughly $2 million.
