Josey Scott is an American singer, songwriter, and actor. He is best known as the lead singer of the rock band Saliva. He has also released two solo albums, Lost in the Moment and Soulful. Scott was born in Memphis, Tennessee, and grew up in the small town of Olive Branch, Mississippi. He began playing guitar at the age of 12 and started writing songs at the age of 14. He attended the University of Memphis, where he studied music theory and composition. In 1996, Scott joined the rock band Saliva as their lead singer. The band released their debut album, Every Six Seconds, in 2001. The album was a success, and the band went on to release several more albums, including Back into Your System (2002), Survival of the Sickest (2004), and Blood Stained Love Story (2007). In 2009, Scott released his first solo album, Lost in the Moment. The album featured a mix of rock, blues, and soul music. He followed it up with his second solo album, Soulful, in 2011. Scott has also appeared in several films, including The Scorpion King (2002), The Punisher (2004), and The Marine (2006). He has also appeared in television shows, such as CSI: Miami and The Shield. Scott is currently working on his third solo album, which is expected to be released in 2021.
