Kabir Bedi was born on 16 January 1946 in Lahore, Punjab, British India. He is the son of Baba Pyare Lal Bedi, a Punjabi Hindu, and Freda Bedi, an Englishwoman who converted to Buddhism. He has two siblings, Siddharth Bedi and Gulhima Bedi.
