She was also featured in the magazine's "Playmate of the Year" pictorial in 1986. Shower was born in Brookville, Ohio, and raised in Dayton, Ohio. She attended the University of Dayton, where she studied business and accounting. After college, she moved to Los Angeles, California, to pursue a career in modeling. Shower has appeared in numerous films and television shows, including the 1985 film The Naked Cage, the 1986 film The Barbarians, and the 1987 film The Lost Boys. She has also appeared in episodes of the television series Baywatch, Married... with Children, and The A-Team. Shower has been married twice. Her first marriage was to actor and producer Robert Ginty, with whom she had a daughter, actress and model Rachel Ginty.
